Plot[]

Max telling Veronica to resign and leave the hospital in the hands of the department chairs who love the place with their entire being and will run It with dignity and grace. Or, she clings to the job that she doesn’t like and doesn’t want, only took for the money, he stays there away from the woman that he loves, the life that he loves and rips her from the hospital by the roots and she will be begging for mercy. Just then, Helen calls, but he makes it short and when he is done, Veronica gets him removed from the hospital.

Floyd walks into the hospital and is wondering why everyone is looking at him strangely.

Iggy is with a patient who tells him that he was working with this guy, Marco, who was doing impressions, he heard a bang, looked back and the guy was bleeding, his chest. He tried to help him but the wound was so big and he died really fast. He was kind of in shock he thinks. He heard screams and knew the shooter was there, he went to the floor and pulled Marco’s body on him to pretend that he was dead.

The grocery store was a false flag operation, the shooting never happened. A few years after the shooting, he was on his dad’s laptop and he saw all this stuff about 911 being an inside job and the shooting he was in being a false flag. His dad is cooking a turkey and he sees on the computer a photo of Marco with blood everywhere saying blood isn’t this red, hashtag “in on it.” He confronted his father, but it is like he was brainwashed, not even his dad anymore. Iggy says there is nothing he can do to help. The boy begs Iggy to help him get his dad back.

Floyd meets with a patient, Tierney Jordan, and tells her that she has a tumor on her pancreas, it needs to be removed or it could be fatal. The challenge is that it is a specialized surgeon and they don’t have the person to do it, these specialists are almost as rare as her tumor. Floyd finds out that Veronica can perform the surgery she completed her fellowship in the specialty.

Elizabeth goes in to see a patient, Lewis, who finishes on the phone with his daughter. He tells Elizabeth that his daughter just played him their song for their father/daughter dance. His pain level is still there, he laughs about it, but it hurts. Lewis tells her that he is walking his daughter down the aisle, he just needs three more months.

Veronica wants to do multiple tests on Tierney and Floyd says no way, her tumor is a ticking time bomb and they don’t have time, she could have a GI bleed any second. Floyd says he is transferring the patient to another hospital.

Max goes to apply for a job, but the guy who interviews him knows something is up and asks for the truth. Max says he needs a seat on the New Amsterdam board.

The guy interviewing Max from Urgent Medical Inc tells him to find a way to triple their patient volume, increase their revenues, he will get his seat on the board. Anything is possible when you want it badly enough. They have a deal.

Iggy sits down with Robert and Drew, the father and son. Robert says he and his son don’t see eye to eye on what happened at the grocery store where Drew was working. Robert says it didn’t happen and he doesn’t know how those people forced his son to say those things happened.

Floyd looks for Tierney, Veronica had her transferred to the OR. Floyd storms into the OR, he is furious. Veronica says she had no choice because of the way he was acting, she ran the tests herself that she wanted done. She tells him to scrub in and make himself useful.

Max tries to get professionals to join Urgent Medical Inc, but no luck.

Iggy tells Drew that his father won’t change, so he will have to. Drew says his father is the one that is wrong, not him, his father lost contact with reality. Drew says his father is the reason why people refuse a vaccine and die. Iggy advises him to accept his father’s reality if he wants to have a relationship with him. Iggy tells him that he can be right, or he can have his father, but he doesn’t get to have both.

In surgery, Floyd’s patient’s tumor is worse than they thought, he disagrees with Veronica on closing her up.

Max gets into an argument with Floyd about his coming back Max says he did it to save them.

Elizabeth is desperate to get Lewis some help, she knows he doesn’t have three months. Lewis imagines his daughter’s wedding, walking her down the aisle.

Veronica is looking over Tierney, Floyd tells her that they failed her today. Veronica tells him about a lesson that she learned through her career and tells him that the choice is his.

Max goes to Urgent Medicine and sees that his colleagues are all there helping out.

Max calls Helen, he tells her that he wants to make new memories with her.
